Our ideal client can be anyone willing to think and do things differently to get different results.  We have been working with Norfolk Yacht and Country Club and the City of Norfolk to help develop a community sailing center, and a year round sailing program.  They are already quite successful in many ways.  Often there are areas in their programs, however, that clearly are not working well or need some direction.

David Tunnicliffe has had wide ranging career experience in sailing, coaching, and business administration. David has been on a sailboat since he was two years old, and has been racing competitively since he was 7 years old.  David grew up in England and sailed up and down the country.  His family then moved to the USA and sailed on Lake Erie for 8 years.  David began instructing sailing when he was 16 years old, and fell in love with sharing his passion with others.  David went to Old Dominion University and double majored in Business Administration.  After graduating, David was the Assistant Sailing Coach at ODU, and then moved to Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, as the Sailing Director, where he developed a year round sailing program.  He coaches younger sailors at competitions on the National level.  David works with sailors of all ages, and has developed programs that fit the needs of the 6 year old child, and the 75 year old senior who just wants to go sailing.
